Everyone loves the North Carolina Seafood Festival! Take the stress out of locating easy parking for this event and go straight to the PAWS lot. Check out the PAWS Parking Lot first in the 700 block of Bridges Street behind Neil Whitford’s Law Office! Still only $5 the proceeds are helping less fortunate animals in Carteret County and also go toward our no kill animal shelter construction.

Description: A very special event begins this week for PAWS. It’s time for the PAWS Pet Food Drive! Drop off unopened/unexpired dry, & canned dog/cat food, litter, and or gift cards. We maintain a small food bank at the PAWS Thrift Store for folks going through hard times and need a little extra help sometimes. We also make supplies available for our seniors, and of course our own Foster homes. Please bring something by if you can.

Too Hot For Spot
Monday, June 23rd, 2014June, July, August, September, and October are notoriously hot and humid months in our area and certainly no time for Spot to be outside, in vehicles unattended, or in the bed of pickup trucks. Help spread the word and kindly remind folks with the PAWS “Too Hot For Spot” handouts. These will be available beginning June 30th at the PAWS Thrift Store, 3010 Arendell St. in Morehead City.dog may be dying
